635 road rage incident reportedly over car's bright lights

Dallas police are investigating an apparent road rage incident over a vehicle with its bright lights on early Monday morning on 635.

A police report states that a driver fired a gun at a Nissan Altima that had its bright's on in the 27200 block of LBJ Freeway, which is in southeast Dallas.

The vehicle in question, a Pontiac Vibe, was traveling ahead of the Altima and became agitated by the bright lights of the Altima. The report states the Vibe “suddenly slowed down and cut in behind” the Altima and turned on its own bright lights.

The Vibe eventually pulled up to the right side of the Altima, rolled down its window and fired a single shot at the Altima. The driver of the Altima said they didn’t see the gun, but heard the shot felt the impact when the bullet hit the car.

The report said the Altima was damaged, but no one was hurt in the incident.
