WEST CHESTER, Pa. -

Students at West Chester University are being a little more cautious following a string of violence and crime on campus, the latest happening Tuesday night.

The department of public safety says an attempted carjacking happened around 10:30 p.m. on Sharpless Street, between the Sharpless and New Street garages.

A woman was trying to park when a man approached the car and told her to get out. She managed to drive away.

The incident comes after three sexual assault investigations in a month.
