Dough

1 cup of warm water

1 Tbsp honey

1 Tsp olive oil

2 1/2 cups of flour

1 Tsp salt

One package of yeast

Preheat oven to 400 degrees Combine water, honey, oil and yeast in a mixing and let sit for 10 minutes to allow yeast to activate. In a separate bowl, combine flour and salt. After yeast mixture is activated, combine the dry ingredients to the yeast mixture and mix for five minutes or until the dough is smooth. Add one Tsp of olive oil over the dough to keep it moist and so it is easier to roll out.


Stromboli

1/2 pound provolone cheese

1/2 pound of ham6 oz Salamai

6 oz Pepperoni1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 egg yolk Garlic Powder

Italian Seasoning

Roll out dough flat to about an 1/8 of an inch thick in a rectangular shape. Layer your meats and cheeses over 2/3 of the dough, starting first with the provolone then adding the ham, salami, pepperoni and mozzarella. Sprinkle grated parmesan over the top. Starting on the side without meat, fold the dough over twice and then pinch together the ends so it appears as a loaf of bread. Brush the top of the dough roll with egg yolks and top with your favorite seasoning (here we used garlic powder, Italian seasoning and grated parmesan cheese). Score the top of the dough three times.Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 20-25 min, or in top is golden brown.
