Most of North Texas is going to see partly sunny skies and warm conditions this afternoon... but strong to severe thunderstorms could form late this afternoon into early this evening.
We'll get up to 88° this afternoon with windy conditions out of the south 15-30 mph. Prime areas for thunderstorm development after 6 p.m. with be north and west of the Metroplex.
Tonight, after the storms move out, we only drop down into the upper 60s and low 70s.
Tomorrow, the severe weather threat shifts into the Metroplex and beyond, especially areas east of I-35. Storms will move through the MPLEX in the AM and then redevelopment will happen in the afternoon for areas in our far eastern viewing area.
Largest threats with these storms will be damaging winds, large hail, and isolated tornadoes.
