Shred Day Dallas kicks off with long lines

People were lined up as early as 6:15 a.m. to take advantage of the fourth annual Shred Day DFW, which began at 8:00 a.m. and runs until 4:00 p.m.

Shred Day DFW is a free document shredding event designed to raise awareness of identity theft protection and recycling. People are able to take personal and business paper documents to be shredded. The event is happening in the parking lot of Comerica Bank’s Mockingbird Service Center. 

It is suggested that participants bring a donation of two non-perishable food items to donate to the North Texas Food Bank.

The event is presented by Comerica Bank, Iron Mountain Incorporated and KDFW FOX 4.
