PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A man was found dead in a Phoenix smoke shop, and now Phoenix Police are searching for three men who may have killed him.

The murder happened in Central Phoenix near Indian School & 5th Avenue.

Investigators believe that the employee had just opened up the store for the day when they got a 9-1-1 call reporting a robbery at the store.

Officers found signs of a struggle in the shop; the business was ransacked, and a small fire had started inside. They also found the victim, a 47 year-old employee of the store dead.

Detectives are not saying how he was killed. Witnesses said they saw three Hispanic suspects near the store.

Police also say the victim's Cadillac Escalade is also missing, and the suspects may be driving it around.

"People coming in and out; people get off the bus right here and just walk right in to get a pack of cigarettes every day," said William Sutton.

Some customers FOX 10 spoke with did not want to give their name but shop at the location often. "I just shop here, I don't really know him that well, but what I do know of him... this is not good at all," he said.
