Body Of Missing Hoboken Man Found In Hudson River

Posted: Updated:
Hoboken, New Jersey (My9NJ) - The family of missing Hoboken man Andrew Jarzyk has confirmed that the body pulled out of the Hudson River Monday afternoon is in fact their loved one.

Jarzyk has been missing since March 30th and family and friends have been doing everything in their power to try and find him. From organizing search parties, to hanging posters all over Hoboken and even using billboards asking for any information as to his whereabouts.

Unfortunately, this story ends in tragedy as the family works on healing and is able to have some closure to this ongoing search.

Hoboken Councilman Michael Russo has been very critical of Mayor Dawn Zimmer. He’s blaming her for the current surveillance camera problems happening in the city. You see, Jarzyk was last seen on grainy private surveillance footage jogging along the pier, but what happens to him afterwards police don’t know because Hoboken’s public surveillance cameras have not been working since 2009.

Russo believes if there were better surveillance cameras in the city, than police would have had more information as to what happened Jarzyk sooner.

Zimmer has come forward and said that the city needs better cameras and she is working on that now that more and more dead bodies are being pulled out of the Hudson River on a regular basis.

Hoboken police gave up searching for Jarzyk less than a week after he went missing claiming that they have exhausted all of their leads.

StubHub, which is a website that provides services for buyers and sellers for tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other live entertainment events, has been hacked. StubHub is getting a lot of bad press, but the site is really the victim here. The hackers have hacked accounts from other sites, and then used that information to get into the StubHub accounts.
