A Dallas woman was arrested Wednesday for stabbing a man in an argument over a YouTube video.
Jequilla Moore, 25, faces an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge and is in jail on a $25,000 bond.
Moore and a man were in the living room of a garage apartment before 3 a.m. on Wednesday in the 3700 block of Magedeline Street in West Dallas when they got in an argument over posting a video on YouTube.
According to a police report, Moore said the man had been drinking and “would not stop arguing with her about the video.”
Moore told police the man slapped her in the face, so she went into the kitchen and grabbed a small kitchen knife, then stabbed the man.
The man walked out of the garage apartment and into the main house and told a person that Moore had stabbed him and he needed to go to the hospital, but he didn’t want police involved.
Moore called 911 and said she had stabbed a man. Police came to the home and took Moore to the family violence unit and again admitted to stabbing the man.
Moore has no prior criminal history, according to the police report.
