Gardners across southeast Michigan will have a chance to get their hands on free vegetable plants on Saturday, May 10.

The annual Mother's Day Free Plant Giveaway will begin at noon on the corner of Gladstone and Linwood on the city's west side. Those who add their gardens to the Urban Farming Global Map will be eligible to receive the free plants while supplies last.
