The Dallas Independent School District placed two of its high school basketball coaches on administrative leave in connection to a murder investigation involving two students.

Police charged Madison High School basketball star Jonathan Turner with the murder of Wilmer-Hutchins basketball player and friend Troy Causey.

Causey died in March after an attack outside of the home where he'd been living. Turner and others say the two fought over a video game.

However, police told FOX 4 it was more than a fight due to physical evidence and the medical examiner’s report.

Dallas ISD placed coaches John Burley from Wilmer Hutchins and Roderick Johnson from Madison on leave.

Police also took computers from both Madison and Wilmer Hutchins to scour for emails to see if those coaches may have communicated with each other or anyone else about what happened to Causey.
