Body found Saturday in creek confirmed to be former Assistant Police Chief
Dallas police say the Medical Examiner has determined the body found Saturday morning in a creek is former Assistant Police Chief Greg Holliday.
Dallas police spokesman Major Max Geron says the "Medical Examiner confirms with fingerprints that body found in creek yesterday is Greg Holliday." The Medical Examiner's office has not yet released further details about the autopsy that was performed Sunday.
Game Wardens from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department used sonar Saturday morning and found the body submerged in a creek near the Preston Trails Golf Club. Dallas Police Chief David Brown talked with Holliday's family about the discovery. The Chief says "Our thoughts and prayers are with the Holliday family during this difficult time."
Holliday disappeared May 12th.
