Grand Prix weekend kicks-off with "Free Prix Day" Friday

DETROIT (WJBK) -- The Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix and Comerica Bank are hosting "Free Prix Day" Friday.

All on-track activities Friday, May 30 are free to fan.  These include IndyCar practice, TUDOR United SportsCar Championship practice and qualifying rounds, the first official race of the weekend, and more.  There will also be live entertainment and activities.

"The Nine" will be broadcasting live from Belle Isle on "Free Prix Friday."  CLICK THE VIDEO PLAYER ABOVE TO WATCH LIVE.

All events are happening on Belle Isle.  Gates for Grand Prix events opened at 7:30 a.m. and events run all day Friday until 7:45 p.m.
