SYRACUSE, Utah - A Utah man saved the day recently after stopping a fleeing car with his truck.
On Saturday night, a 14-year-old boy reportedly stole his grandfather’s car, FOX 13 reports.
The grandfather notified police the vehicle was missing. Police spotted the car in Syracuse, where the teen led them on a chase through a park where children were playing.
A Good Samaritan, Bryson Rowley, decided to step in and intentionally used the truck he was driving as a ram rod to stop the teen driving the car.
“The person driving the truck could see it was turning back into the park, and he did not want the car to hit all of the children, or any of the children, and he actually pulled his truck in the way so the car collided with the truck,” Officer Erin Behm with the Syracuse Police Department told FOX 13.
