NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - A fire erupted at a gas station near the Hutchinson River Parkway in Westchester on Tuesday.

As many as four people were injured and it forced the closure of the roadway in the area.

The extent of the injuries was not clear.

Several gas pumps at the Mobil station in Harrison near exit 25 caught fire. It is not clear if a car crash that occurred at the station set off the fire or if the fire lead to the collision.

SkyFoxHD was overhead where two vehicles appeared to have collided and another appeared to have struck one of the pumps.

The Hutchinson was closed southbound as firefighters attempted to put out the fire and douse the area with foam.

The fire was brought under control by late morning.

At least one lane along the southbound Hutch remained closed as firefighters and emergency personnel were on scene.
