“Texas-sized” is a cliché that even the newest Texan quickly tires of hearing
But it can be applied to a food creation made for AT&T Center in San Antonio for the NBA Finals that start Thursday night.
The 3 Pointer, according to Eater.com, is a sandwich that comes with three different types of BBQ, three cheeses, three different options of BBQ sauce all spread between three pieces of Texas toast.
The BBQ meat in the sandwich is brisket, pork and sausage. The three cheeses are muenster, queso fresco and something called Texas Havarti. There are also onion rings, called “Mexican Coca Cola Caramelized Onions.”
It’s served on a plate that has a kabob skewers stuck through and topped with the onion rings.
One sandwich will set you back $12.95. Antacids not included.
