Highway closed after 18 wheeler wreck

ARLINGTON, Texas - It took several hours to clear a wreck involving a tractor trailer that spilled concrete piping on Highway 360 in Arlington.

The crash occurred around 10:30 Saturday morning, the highway was reopened around 6:00 p.m. Saturday evening.

One of the pipes hit a road sign, causing the sign to buckle.  Two pieces of concrete conduit rolled down an embankment onto the lanes of Mayfield Road.

The driver of the truck was taken to a local hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
