Police: Craigslist Con Man Lured Woman To Home, Attacked Her

Posted: Updated:
UPPER DARBY, Pa. -

A Delaware County man is under arrest accused of raping a young woman who answered a job ad on Craigslist.

And police fear there may be more victims.

Upper Darby police say they arrested 42-year-old Kevin Cornish, of Drexel Hill. They say he lured an 18-year-old single mother to his home through an employment ad on Craigslist.com.

Police say Cornish told the victim he needed to hire a home health aide.

Once she got there, police say Cornish tried to make the victim sign forms saying she was an escort.

Investigators say a search of Cornish's home yielded 50 such filled out forms, leading police to suspect he has more victims.

FOX 29's Sabina Kuriakose reported live Monday morning from the police station in Upper Darby with more details.
