High School Rivalry Results In Inappropriate Signs

Posted: Updated:
Manville, New Jersey (My9NJ) - Last week a sign that read “Manville 2014” was hung up on neighboring Bound Brook High School, an athletic rival of Manville High.

The sign caused quite a stir around town and on social media because in smaller lettering on top you can see that it says #junglefeverbb and also depicts a drawn image of the male anatomy with a Pac-man-like mouth next to it.

Now Lt. Kevin Rivenbark of Bound Brook police says they’re currently investigating the incident of what people around town are calling a senior prank.

Longtime Manville resident Rich Hagan, who runs the Facebook page ‘Spotted: Manville’ says an anonymous Manville High School student sent him the photos for his local Facebook blog.

“Kind of, her comment was ‘stay classy Manville’ which I think was sarcastic,” he explained.

Hagen says his Facebook page gets all kinds of weird submissions of happenings around town and he says he was told the photos circulated around the school before they wound up on his blog.

Since then, people have had lots of different opinions on the so-called prank. In the comments, some people called it embarrassing, others blamed parents in Manville for not parenting, but others said it’s just a joke and people need to get over it.

Around Bound Brook High, students seemed to agree that it was just a senior prank. Now it appears that students there may have retaliated against Manville High by spray painting “BBHS” and “#STDs” on Manville High School.

Now, the sign on Bound Brook High School has been taken down and a tarp is covering up the spray paint on Manville High.

StubHub, which is a website that provides services for buyers and sellers for tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other live entertainment events, has been hacked. StubHub is getting a lot of bad press, but the site is really the victim here. The hackers have hacked accounts from other sites, and then used that information to get into the StubHub accounts.
