CHANDLER, Ariz. - Chandler Police Department officers arrested a man who allegedly posed as a 16 year-old teenager and then drove cross country to bring a 14 year-old home for a sexual relationship.

Authorities began investigating Cooper when Massachusetts police were notified that the victim was kidnapped by Cooper.

Investigators say that 47 year-old Brad David Cooper posed as the 16 year-old and met the victim online. The two conspired to run away together with Cooper even calling the victim's mother and asking her to let them live together.

Police say that the victim apparently realized that Cooper was an adult and met up with him in Massachusetts where they traveled across the country. A police report details that Cooper and the teen had sex several times before they arrived at Cooper's home in Chandler.

Officers spoke with Cooper who admitted to having sex with the teen; he was arrested and questioned by detectives.

Cooper also allegedly told authorities that he had met another 15 year-old victim online, met with that teenager, and had sex while the victim's mother was at work.

Brad Cooper was booked into the 4th Avenue Jail on charges of public sexual indecency with a minor, 12 counts of sexual conduct with a minor, 2 counts of child molestation, 5 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, 1 count of luring a minor for sexual exploitation, and 1 count of unlawful age misrepresentation.
