A few areas to our west were lucky enough to squeeze a few sprinkles out of a dying system early this morning, but that same system will continue pushing across North Texas through the afternoon increasing the chance for a pop up thunderstorm as the day rolls on. For the areas that remain dry, temps should warm up to 92° this afternoon with breezy south winds 10-20 mph.
Any showers that do form this afternoon should die off after sunset, leaving us with partly cloudy skies and a low around 74° with continued breezy conditions.
For Father's Day, rain chances remain about 20% in the afternoon, especially to the north of the Metroplex with a high around 92° and breezy south winds 12-22 mph.
