Victoria's Secret is suing a former employee of its Garden State Plaza location, claiming that the man used his position in the company to buy goods at deep discounts, and then resell them, nj.com reported.
According to the report, Mina Nematalla, of Bayonne, is accused of working with co-conspirators to buy body care products using phony or wrongfully-acquired discounts and credits. The suit claims Nematalla and accomplises reused “appeasement cards,” which are generally handed out to unsatisfied customers and offer a one-time, 30% discount, the report said. The group allegedly kept using the cards to make purchases, the report said.
