Caught On Camera: Thief Snatches From Tip Jar 7 Times

Posted: Updated:

Lauderdale Lakes, Fla.-A young thief is caught on camera snatching money from a restaurant's tip jar, not once, but seven times.

Now, police want to find him.

It happened at the World Famous Hamburger and Wing Restaurant in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida.

The entire crime was caught on surveillance video.

In the video, you can see two young men standing at the counter. Then, the video shows one of the young men grabbing the money while no one was looking. He proceeds to laugh about it.

"For them to go in there multiple times, 7 times in fact, it's just sickening, makes me sick," said restaurant owner Chris Brown.

And here's the kicker; the young thief overpaid using some of the money he allegedly stole. When worker Monique Mericil gave him the dollar back, he told her to keep it. Soon after, the video shows him reaching into the jar again for more money.
