Officials are looking into a claim that a daycare in Parker County abused children.
The Texas Department of Childcare Licensing confirmed its investigators were at the Heart2Heart Montessori School in Willow Park on Thursday.
The agency would not discuss details, but said someone reported an inappropriate punishment.
One parent told FOX 4 she pulled her son out of the school after seeing a photo of another 2-year-old boy duct taped to his nap mat allegedly because he didn't want to lay down.
She said she was concerned that he and other children were being mistreated.
Owner Ashlea Pena said there would be a private meeting for parents at the end of the day.
"The staff and I have the best interest of the children and parents as our highest priority. The school has an exemplary performance history, and will work with childcare licensing authorities and cooperate fully with any investigation. We do not have any further comments at this time because we do not want to jeopardize the investigation or to break confidentiality," Pena said in a statement.
