We'll start off the first day of Summer with above-average temperatures in the mid 90s and light southerly winds with partly cloudy skies. A small percentage of the area will see AM sprinkles and a possible downpour this afternoon. Overnight, we get a break from the shower activity with a low around 76° and more cloud cover.
Hoping too see rain? The best chance this weekend comes early Sunday morning as the remnants of another system tries to push its way into North Texas. After the morning rain is gone, Sunday brings more 90s and then another 20% chance of rain in the afternoon.
More 90s and small chances of rain start the workweek and continue through next weekend. Still no drought-busters, but we'll take every drop we can get.
