COLLEYVILLE, Texas -

A Colleyville family is dealing with the loss of their home and a 17-year-old relative in a fire.

The fast-moving fire destroyed the two-story home in the 3500 block of Blue Quail Lane early Tuesday morning.

Colleyville fire officials said four others including a baby were all able to make it out okay, but the teenager remained unaccounted for for about nine hours.

Once the house was safe to search, firefighters found her body amid the first-floor rubble.

The girl was identified as Tylar Batchelor. Neighbors believe she is the homeowner's sister.

One neighbor said she woke up to sirens and popping sounds. Out the window, she saw large glowing flames.

"They came to our door and were ringing, ringing. We got up and went to the door. She was screaming fire so I called 911," said Nancy Penwell.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the fire and why the girl was unable to get out.
