The Richmond Police Department released dramatic dash cam video of one of their officers risking his life to save a woman who was lying across railroad tracks.

In the video, you see the officer's car pulls up just as the red caution lights begin flashing. Officer Morales runs towards the tracks, and reaches the woman just as the crossing guard arm comes all the way down. He drags her from the train tracks just seconds before the train goes racing by.

The Richmond Police department released the video on their Facebook page, saying Morales has only been on the force for 10 months.

The officer had to keep the woman from running back onto the tracks. She went to the hospital for evaluation.
