Celebrate Freedom at Southfork Ranch

Posted: Updated:
The “Celebrate Freedom” event kicked off at 10:00 Saturday morning at Southfork Ranch in Parker.

Organizers bill it as the largest free concert in America. It features performances from Michael W. Smith, Crowder, Britt Nicole, Group 1 Crew and several others.

There is also a children’s village, a jumbotron, family activities and an inflatable amusement park.

Music starts at 11:00 a.m. and the event ends at 11:00 p.m., after the fireworks show.

Backpacks and handbags are allowed, but organizers said security teams can randomly search them without cause.  Blankets, umbrellas and chairs are also allowed.

Outside food and drinks are not allowed, but will be sold inside the venue.

Celebrate Freedom is an alcohol-free event.

Tickets are free, but required to enter the event. A ticket will also allow you to get $10 off the $25 parking fee.
