The woman accused of stealing decorative crosses from a neighbor's house in Cleburne is behind bars.
Johnson County sheriff's deputies arrested 26-year-old Iris Carroll Wednesday night.
They said she is the woman seen on surveillance video taking crosses from a front porch.
Her mother, 43-year-old Cathy Ann Silva, was also arrested.
Deputies believe the pair was involved in nearly a dozen other crimes.
They searched Carroll's house and found the stolen crosses and property from other recent thefts in Johnson County, including an engine turbo charger worth $6,000.
"One case led to more than one and we're able to tie in the suspects more with the theft of the turbo charger," said Capt. Mike Gilbert with the Johnson County Sheriff's Department.
Carroll is also suspected of several thefts in the city of Joshua.
Additional criminal charges have been filed against her.
