One killed in shooting outside Ft. Worth convenience store

Posted: Updated:
An argument between two men led to a deadly shooting outside of a Fort Worth convenience store during rush hour on Tuesday.

Around 4:30 p.m., Fort Worth police say the victim walked to the convenience store, in the 1700 block of NW 28th Street, as another man drove up.

The two then started arguing in the parking lot.

Witnesses told police the suspect in the car pulled out a handgun and fired several shots.

The victim fell, and then the suspect drove over him, pulling out of the parking lot. However, police aren't saying whether or not that was intentional.

It’s believed the two men knew each other, and the argument stemmed from a few days back.

A family that lives across the street and saw the entire incident called 911.
