OWATONNA, Minn (KMSP) -

Two semi-trailers caught fire in a crash that shut down northbound Interstate 35 just south of Owatonna, Minn. on Thursday. No injuries were reported, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

2 SEMIS, 1 PASSENGER CAR INVOLVED

Updated information from the Minnesota State Patrol explained that a 1996 Saturn SC1 driven by 32-year-old Lani Manion of Mankato, Minn. had stopped in the right lane behind a Polman semi when the second semitrailer collided with the car and pushed it into the first semi. At that point, the Polman semi started on fire.

The crash sent a plume of black smoke into the sky that could be seen for miles, and drivers who passed the accident said they could feel the heat through their windows. Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker Ben Leber posted a "crazy pic" of the accident on Twitter, saying his "buddy will be a tad late" but that it sounds like everyone is okay.

There's a big misconception about food vendors at the Minnesota State Fair. Many people think you can set up a booth, work 12 days and make a pile of cash. But it's not that easy. Aside from a lot of hard work, it also takes some luck.
