Fourth of July starts off quiet, but could end with a bang. Morning temps in the mid 70s then warm up quickly to the mid 80s by noon. A chance of pop-up showers and thunderstorms edges in (especially south) as the afternoon rolls on, but chances are only 20%. Highs today should get up into the low 90s with partly cloudy skies.
Tonight, any storms that form should diminish after sunset, just in time for fireworks to go on without a hitch tonight. Temps will cool down to the mid 80s by sunset and into the 70s by midnight.
How about the weekend? Dry and hot with mid 90s and mostly sunny skies.
