Baseball Broadcaster Loses Tooth Mid-Game, Partner Attempts To Replace It

Posted: Updated:

BOSTON- A 16-9 Red Sox loss was not the only loss for the organization Wednesday.

Broadcaster Jerry Remy lost a tooth in the top of the 4th inning!

The tooth, which was believed to actually be a cap, became a large topic of in-game conversation for the broadcaster as they spent several innings making jokes about the incident and speculating as to whether or not it would go back in.

By the time the top of the 7th inning rolled around, Remy's partner in the booth Don Orsillo can be seen attempting to replace the tooth in a joking manner with the help of some pliers.

Twitter users offered their help as well insisting that the cap could indeed be fixed, which prompted Orsillo to take matters into his own hands.
