Fourth of July weekend starts off with a bang

Posted: Updated:

Saturday morning starts off with cool temps and clear skies... downright pleasant. This afternoon, we warm up fast with temps reaching into the low 90s and mostly sunny skies. Worried about the winds? Don't be. They'll be light out of the south/southeast all weekend long. There is a VERY slight chance of an isolated storm yet again this afternoon, especially south of I-20. Most areas will stay dry, but be on the lookout just in case.

Sunday brings very similar but slightly warmer temps with a high of 96°. Winds will remain light, skies will remain mostly clear.

The workweek brings more heat (but still under triple digits) and more dry weather.
