After a pleasant start to the morning in the upper 60s and low 70s, we'll have a quick warm-up into the mid 90s. Rain chances? Not a chance. We'll stay dry and mostly sunny all day with winds out of the south 8-12 mph. Watch out for a high UV index and heat index near triple-digits this afternoon.
Hoping for relief? You might be waiting a while. We stay hot and dry all week long with light southerly winds all the way through next weekend. Best shot at rain comes Tuesday from sea breeze storms but ONLY for our far southeastern counties. Metroplex will stay parched at least a week longer.
