A Week Without Answers In Brendan Tevlin’s Murder

Posted: Updated:
West Orange, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

It’s been over a week since 19 year-old Brendan Tevlin was murdered in West Orange, New Jersey and police still have not made any arrests. The reward for any information about the murder is now up to $25,000.

Tevlin was returning from a party with friends where he had been playing video games. He texted his mom saying that he was on his way home, but never made it. He was gunned down in his parents SUV at the corner of Northfield Avenue and Walker Road in West Orange, where police got reports of gunshots. Police later found Tevlin in his family car abandoned in a parking lot of an apartment complex further up the road.

Dealing with all the grief and sorrow has been tough on Tevlin’s friends and family. A Facebook group called “good vibes & easy living” has been created as a place where loved ones can go to express their grief and upload videos and pictures of Tevlin. The page already has over 1500 members.

Family and friends are convinced that police will end up finding the person or persons responsible for taking Tevlin’s life; however they are concerned that they still have not made any progress over a week after it happened.

While police continue their investigation, they are still asking for the public’s help in identifying two men from surveillance images who may have witnessed the murder.

StubHub, which is a website that provides services for buyers and sellers for tickets to sporting events, concerts, and other live entertainment events, has been hacked. StubHub is getting a lot of bad press, but the site is really the victim here. The hackers have hacked accounts from other sites, and then used that information to get into the StubHub accounts.
