Body of missing swimmer found in Lake Lewisville

LITTLE ELM, Texas - The body of a man who recently went missing in Little Elm Park was recovered on Monday, according to police.

The 35-year-old victim had last been seen in the swim area of the park around 9:30 p.m. Sunday. Investigators believe he drowned, but so far, the medical examiner has not officially ruled that.

Public safety and recovery officials with the Little Elm Fire Department, along with other law enforcement and public safety groups, helped to locate the body around 3:30 p.m.

Police said there were no signs of foul play.

The victim’s name isn’t being released until his next of kin is notified.
