Military brides-to-be receive free wedding gowns

Posted: Updated:

A nationwide charity, dedicated to providing free wedding gowns for military brides-to-be, kicked off in Atlanta on Monday.

Military brides who are engaged, and planning a wedding within the next 18 months, were invited to attend “Brides Across America.”

The two-day event kicked off Monday night at Wedding Angels Bridal Boutique in Roswell and lasts through Tuesday.

Brides sorted through a variety of designer wedding gowns at no cost to them. Wedding Angels provided over 100 gowns in varied sizes and colors.

“We are so grateful for the service men and women who are showing their commitment to our country,” said Jacqueline Westney who owns Wedding Angels. “There is no better way to thank them than to help them celebrate their wedding!”
