MINAKAMI TOWN, JAPAN- An Australian man stretched the limits to get into the record books.
Beau Retallick clinched the Guinness World Records' title for most bungee jumps in 24 hours.
The 40-year-old Aussie bungee jumped 158 times off a bridge in Japan.
He beat the previous record of 151 jumps set this past march.
It took an average of 3 minutes for each jump.
"There was so much free fall. I mean I got such an extended period of free fall, and that definitely is going to have an effect I think. I can feel it right now. Having stopped now, I still feel that initial drop and it's not gone away," he said.
Retallick says he kept up his energy level with energy drinks, snacks and occasional breaks.
