CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Sleeping naked might be the key to getting a better night’s sleep, improving your overall health and losing weight.

Researchers cited by TheMindUnleashed.org said there are several reasons why you should take all your clothes off before you crawl between the sheets.

One reason is that your body needs to cool down in order for you to reach the deepest stages of sleep. Pajamas can keep you too warm and interfere with this natural process.

Sleeping naked can also help you lose weight, because allowing your body to cool naturally lowers your cortisol level. Cortisol is the stress hormone; if your levels are too high, you are likely to have higher blood pressure and an increased appetite for sweets, which can lead to belly fat.

Sleeping naked can stimulate the release of anti-aging hormones and boost oxytocin levels.

And we would be remiss if we did not point out sleeping naked can lead to more sex, which can also increase overall health and happiness.
