TUCSON, Ariz. - Police say when a confrontation escalated between four people near Ruthrauff Road and La Cholla Boulevard, a man was hit in the head and sustained minor injuries.

When officers arrived at the scene, they learned a 25-year-old male and his 48-year-old father were accosted by two unknown males. After the assault, the suspects were seen running into a nearby neighborhood.

Take a look at the surveillance photos: Investigators learned the two suspects were involved in a beer theft at a Circle K store prior to the assault, which occurred on June 29.

Authorities describe the first suspect as a black male with a tall, slender build. He was wearing a light-colored tank top and dark shorts. The second suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his mid 20s, who was wearing a light-colored shirt, jeans and a ball cap.

Anyone with information about this case is urged to call 88-CRIME or 911.
