Mattie's Call issued for elderly man with dementia

UPDATE: The Mattie's Call has been canceled and the missing man has been located.

The Gwinnett Police Department has issued a Mattie's Call for an 87-year-old man who suffers from dementia.

Chlown Harper Cardwell has been missing since 8:00 a.m. Wednesday and was last seen driving off from his home on Oakwilde Court in Snellville. Investigators say he drove a white 1999 Buick Park Avenue.

Cardwell is 6-feet-tall and weighs about 154 pounds. In addition to dementia, he is vision and hearing impaired.

The elderly man was last seen wearing blue jeans and a gray long sleeved shirt.

Anyone with information on Cardwell's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
