Capital murder suspect caught in Grand Prairie

Dallas police captured a man Sunday suspected in the murder of three people. Justin Pharez Smith was captured around 6:00 Sunday morning, according to Dallas police. He was taken into custody by US Marshals in Grand Prairie. Police identified him as a suspect in the shooting in southeast Oak Cliff Saturday morning.

Three people were found dead inside a home. Demarcus Walton, Tyteanna Lyahanee Brown and Kimberly Montgomery were killed. Another woman who had been shot ran to a neighbor's house for help. She is in the hospital.

Two witnesses saw the suspect as he left the scene, according to Dallas police. Guns and clothing were found at his mother's home in Arlington. He is being held at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center on murder charges
