60th Anniversary Of The Land Of Make Believe

Hope, New Jersey (My9NJ) -

The Land of Make Believe in Hope, New Jersey, recently celebrated their 60th anniversary and in honor of this milestone, the park made some new changes. The parks newest ride, the Pirates Escape, is a huge hit because it goes from zero to very fast when the floor drops out from underneath riders releasing you into a water slide. Kids of all ages love the amusement park, including Henry Flynn IV, a fun enthusiast.

“With the speed it’s going in, I am pretty nervous, but I know I am going to like it,” Flynn said of the newest ride.

Manager and owner of The Land of Make Believe, Chris Maier, said he wanted to keep the fun alive.

“Coming to the Land of Make Believe gives you permission to play and not be a parent, to play with your kids. You can bring your own food, and we have a beautiful picnic area. The parking is free, the lines are short, and the prices are the lowest,” Maier said.

The park has a water park and an amusement park. The dry side of the park is more geared towards younger children, while the water park targets a bit of the older generation of kids. The Land of Make Believe is newly improved, and fun for the whole family. It’s time to get your tickets before the summer is over!

He's taken his camera to Costa Rica, Fiji, California, and up and down the entire east coast, but some of his most beautiful work stems from right here in New Jersey specifically at Seaside Park, where he was born and raised.
