An Ecorse police officer said that he heard Hayley Turner say she was abducted.

She was taken to Henry Ford Hospital in Wyandotte and had minor injuries, according to Fox 2's Randy Wimbley.

Turner, 18, who went missing Thursday night, Ecorse police officer Darren Johnson said there was a dispatch call received by Ecorse spotted on 19th and Salliotte.

"A dispatch call in regards to someone observing someone walking down the street without a shirt on," Johnson said. "Upon arrival we came into contact with the person who helped her. From that point we went on with our standard operating procedure."

A tipster who called into dispatch said that Turner had jumped out of a moving car. The 911 caller told dispatchers that she did not have a shirt on, said an officer to Fox 2.

By the time police arrived, she was wearing a shirt.

Police say it is unclear if she was assaulted.

The Monroe County Sheriff's Office had been investigating the possible abduction of Turner.

In a press conference Sheriff Dale Malone said that at about 3:30 p.m. the Monroe County Sheriff's Office received word that Turner had been found.

Malone said that more information will be relayed soon, and that the investigation is ongoing.

More than 40 officers were involved in the search from various departments and that Turner's cell phone was found due to a tip from the community.

Malone thanked the community and media for responding in a timely manner after Turner went missing. He said the tips helped lead to a "positive outcome."

Malone said in a press conference Friday morning Turner went missing as she was out renting a movie Thursday night in Bedford Twp..

He says Turner was on her way home from the Family Video store near Dean Road and Lewis Avenue when she called her friend around 10:08 p.m. While she was on the phone, she told her friend she saw a man lying in the ditch and that she was going to check on him.

Malone says Turner told her friend seconds later that the man had a gun and the phone call disconnected.

The friend immediately called Turner's father, who drove to the scene within minutes. He found Turner's vehicle idling near the area of Dean Road and Crabb Road. Turner was nowhere to be found.
