Frisco could extend alcohol sale hours

Posted: Updated:
FRISCO, Texas - The fast-growing city of Frisco is talking about letting restaurants and bars serve alcohol after midnight.

The law currently only allows alcohol sales until midnight or 1 a.m. on Saturdays.

The council was asked to put the option for sales until 2 a.m. on the November ballot.

Frisco did allow alcohol sales past midnight in 2007, but voters petitioned to have the ordinance repealed.
