DETROIT (WJBK) - Authorities have caught three suspects after money was stolen from a a Rite Aid Friday morning on Detroit's east side.

Three men walked into the store at 8 Mile and Dequindre roads around 3:30 a.m. Police say they struck two employees with their weapons and demanded money. The suspects were wearing masks and hooded sweatshirts. One was wearing a gray sweatshirt reading, "Swag don't come cheap".

The suspects took off with about $3,300 in cash and numerous bottles of liquor, police say.

Police also say the cash was attached to a tracking device so officers were able to track the suspects. However, when officers approached a shot was fired by the suspect's gun. Police are unsure at this time if the shot was intentional.

The suspects were caught in the 19200 block of Shields. They were found hiding and were talked to come out of the home. Police are searching the home for more guns.
