Nail polish detects date rape drug

A new type of fingernail polish could help prevent date rape.

Undergraduates at North Carolina State University created the polish which changes colors when exposed to the date rape drug rohypnol.

The person wearing it must stick their finger in a drink. But if the polish changes colors, they know the drink is unsafe.
