Copy Coordinator (Full-Time, Reg.): KDFW/KDFI currently has an opening for a Copy Coordinator in our Traffic Department. The position is responsible for gathering and organizing materials provided by advertising agencies in order to properly schedule commercial rotations. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to, inputting commercial rotations into computer system and checking, verifying and filing all input schedules. This position supports the Traffic Managers by completing daily logs. The position is also responsible for maintaining commercial inventory file. Ideal candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented. Must have experience working in a fast paced environment and have the ability to effectively communicate with sales management, sales personnel, and other station personnel as required. Must be able to effectively communicate with advertising agency personnel to ensure that materials are received in a timely manner. Attention to detail is critical for effective completion of daily tasks. Must be able to meet deadlines and have the ability to follow detailed instructions from sales personnel and traffic management. A four year college degree is preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) required and previous experience in a broadcast Traffic Department is preferred. Account Executive (Full-Time, Reg.)
KDFW/KDFI currently has an opening for an Account Executive. The position will primarily focus on developing new business for Broadcast TV. The successful candidate must be able to identify qualified targets, use strong communication and presentation skills throughout the sales process and maintain a high closing ratio. We are looking for someone that can bring together all our resources (Top Rated Local News, Fox Network, Fox Sports, My Network TV, Web Sponsorships and Promotions) in a creative manner to achieve a high level of results. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to, strategically negotiating existing business along with obtaining incremental dollars from the existing market and building strong client relationships. Responsible for completing administrative tasks such as weekly forecasts, monthly reports, new business trackers, weekly meeting forms and the credit and collection of all accounts.
Ideal candidate must possess a proven track record of success in sales. A four year college degree is required. Media sales experience is strongly preferred. Knowledge of media math, TV ratings and web metrics is a plus. Candidate must be a self starter with strong verbal and written communication skills. We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, creative and passionate to succeed in the highly competitive environment of media sales. Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking are critical to the position. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office required and knowledge of media related software and research tools is a plus.

FINANCE
Director of Finance (Full-Time, Reg.): KDFW/KDFI currently has an opening for a Director of Finance. The position has significant responsibility for providing complete, accurate and timely reports to management. This is accomplished by interviewing key staff within the stations, staying abreast of current economic factors and news, and by developing a keen understanding of our business operations. Reports are prepared by the Director or are delegated (in portions or in totality) to direct reports within the department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to overseeing the accuracy of the financial records of the stations by reviewing all journal entries and reports prepared by the staff, closely monitoring accounts payable, payroll and accounts receivable activities and by reviewing account reconciliations and financial variance reports. Position directly manages the Financial Analyst, and Payroll Coordinator. These responsibilities include monitoring work hours, managing assignments, providing training, administering annual employee reviews and participating in the hiring and discipline process. The Director of Finance is responsible for maintaining a high level of ethical behavior at all times. Must demonstrate integrity and honesty while interacting with customers, coworkers and managers.
A Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university with major or concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline is required. An MBA and/or CPA is preferred. A minimum of seven (7) years of general accounting, forecasting, or budgeting experience is required. Candidate must demonstrate a good working knowledge of fundamental accounting principles. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office with a heavy emphasis in Excel. Must possess strong math skills and be proficient in 10-key by touch. Ideal candidate must appreciate and respect the necessity for confidentiality, demonstrate the ability to accept and follow instructions, be able to professionally, diplomatically, tactfully and courteously interact with people and display a professional attitude and appearance. Must demonstrate initiative and self-motivation perform well in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to concentrate and focus amid distractions. Must be able to multi-task, work independently, establish priorities and accurately complete tasks under tight deadlines. Candidate must be well organized and detail oriented. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to concisely explain financial principles and practices. Strong leadership skills are essential.
